The totem pole, carved by master carver Jewell Praying Wolf James of the House of Tears carvers, is the 4th totem pole to make the journey to First Nations communities on the front lines in the fossil fuel exports war.
The Totem Pole Journeys unify First Nations, faith groups, environmental groups, and community leaders to stand as one, educate people to the dangers, and to stop fossil fuel extraction and export from decimating our lands, waters, and hurting all sentient beings on the planet. The approach is spiritual.
