Kaleb James Cole, 24, charged with gross misdemeanors Monday in Texas, had warrant was issued for his arrest in Washington, bail set at $20K, according to court documents from the King County Attorney’s Office. Cole had contact with Bellingham police after reports of his neo-Nazi flags and memorabilia in his home in 2015, and in Anacortes for allegedly waving a Nazi flag outside a store in 2012.
The Seattle Times: Cole had previous run-ins with Bellingham and Anacortes law enforcement involving the display of Nazi symbols. Cole cannot be extradited from Texas on the gun charge. Western Washington has been plagued with far-right extremist organizations recently, including street-brawling groups such as Joey Gibson’s Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys, & more violent paramilitary organizations such as Atomwaffen Division and The Base, which recently began holding training exercises.
