With less than one month remaining before President Biden leaves office on January 20, 2025, the New York City Bar Association  renews its call for official recognition of the fully-ratified Equal Rights Amendment (“ERA”) as the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. To that end, the City Bar urges the President to direct the National Archivist to certify and publish the ERA, notwithstanding the Archivist’s recent Statement on the Equal Rights Amendment Ratification Process.
