The linked piece relates to the final step is to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment to our Constitution, which was passed by Congress and ratified by 38 states. Since amending the U.S. has been so rare over the last 5 decades, few can argue that it is the ultimate in Democracy and our representative form of government.
Please draw you attention to the ERA action points and act as you see fit, especially bringing SJ Res 1 to the floor for a vote, ideally prior to the start of early voting in September!
S.J.Res.1 has been sponsored/cosponsored by all Democratic/Independent Senators, including Senators Manchin and Sinema, as well as GOP Senators Collins and Murkowski; for a total of 51 Senators.
