Jeffrey Epstein is notorious for providing underage girls for the pleasure of politicians and other members of a powerful elite. He has been able to do this on an ongoing basis because of protection from an extraordinary plea bargain deal that was negotiated in 2007. The bargain shut down FBI investigation of Epstein's clients, and shut the girls and their families out from information and opportunity to present evidence. Epstein's ability to command such immunity in exchange for a slap on the wrist testifies to the extraordinary power of his clientele. The person who negotiated this sweetheart deal was Alexander Acosta, who is presently Pres Trump's Secretary of Labor.
