The New York Times editorial board says that Europe should do better for war refugees:  "Eastern Europe's Short Memory" (9/15/2015).

Especially Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and the Baltic States, since they were all once "refugees" that Western Europe "generous welcomed after decades under Communist dictatorship".

The board also scolds the European Union for not cooperating to share their "common problem" of war refugees.

No mention of the U.S. roll and responsibility, nor of the newspaper of record cheerleading the wars that caused people to flee for their lives.  The editorial board must have forgot.  Or is it just arrogance?
