Trump, a preener of Homeric proportions, hates Acosta. They are species in symbiosis. Acosta’s confrontational style brings eyeballs to CNN, and his bosses love that. Trump enjoys fighting with CNN, naming them “fake news” and “enemy of the people” to rev up his base, and the media faint and swoon.
