"9 members of the NYC City Council complained that Chancellor Richard Carranza hired inexperienced cronies for top jobs, like of his hires was a former Disney executive who will serve as “chief experience officer,” which is ironic since he apparently has no education experience. Another will be paid $205,000 a year, although there are unanswered questions about his employment history. His title is: “senior executive director for continuous school improvement” with the Department of Education and a staff of 40."
