Movements and organizations in Mexico continue to strive to defend the battered biodiversity and food sovereignty.

There is some very good information here on the "War on Science."  Monsanto, abetted by governmental agencies, gets away with very nebulous statements on GMO safety while using every legal and quasi-legal method of quashing peer reviewed reports to the contrary.  Note the rigorous attribution to studies used by the anti-GMO side, and the sloppy, politically nasty, expensive techniques used against them.
