March for Our Lives Kicks Off Saturday

According to the March for Our Lives website: “… the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.” The event kicks off in Washington, D.C., at noon Saturday, and Truthdig will feature live updates from the field throughout the day. More than 700 satellite marches are planned in cities nationwide. The Washington Post reports that up to 500,000 people may attend the march in Washington, D.C.
