The latest surge of COVID in Iran has caused the system to lose its ability to deal with the problem. Total number of dead in Tehran alone is over five hundred. The Ayatollah who had put a ban on American and UK made vaccines had to retract and permit one U.K made vaccine to be used .but the numbers of vaccines are well below the needs of country. The people are paying the price for governmental delays and ignorance
