The U.S. has in the past intercepted and confiscated Iranian oil shipments as it enforces U.S. sanctions.

Iran sells its oil by loading it on the ships of countries with different flag. The U.S navy tries to capture and confiscate the oil tankers.

When Iranian naval vessels intervene, the chances of real confrontation increases.

This dangerous cat and mouse games keeps on going on and on.
