This is just lovely. The documentary “Walking Before Walking” is a father’s field notes on bringing his young son on hikes in the wilderness. Watch and enjoy."Babies are masters at absorbing the world through all their senses. In the New Yorker Documentary “Walking Before Walking,” the director Adam Amir’s infant son, Rumi, stares at his surroundings, rapt. He rakes his fingers through pebbles and kelp. He coughs on a mouthful of crumbling bark from an ancient Douglas fir, then goes back for more."
