Excellent piece about the travails of the adjunct professorial life. $3000 per course! (You'll recall that a course runs 13 weeks.) The piece by Victoria Collins once again highlights not only the racial divide (student loan dependency) but also the absurd need for students to take out loans in the first place when they should be getting FREE tertiary education (my view, not Collins's expressed one). There are alternatives. And as The Deep State wastes trillions more dollars supporting a stupid war in Ukraine, it rankles to see what the priorities of our unelected officials who push such waste get up to.
