The [ Bernie Sanders] rally had the ambience of a 1960s anti-war protest like Sanders would have attended in his youth. A group of young people with “Bernie” stickers on their cheeks danced around a man strumming on his guitar. Fans waved homemade signs and joined calls for a political revolution. Pockets of the crowd smelled unmistakably of marijuana.
