The deal includes a new round of direct payments to struggling Americans as well as more money for businesses.
Losers Pelosi and Schumer gave up way too much, including tax deductions for fancy lunches, to get a lousy $600 one time scrap and $300 a week, not enough to pay back rent or monthly costs for most out of work families.
This is what Pelosi and Schumer can do-- make worse deals than the Republicans put on the table. Yeah, sure Trump had to go but now, we have to deal with a DC city full of worthless, corporatist, neoliberal Democratic legislators and appointees. And they may be better than some or even most of Trump's appointees. But they are an affront to the progressives and blacks who actually put Biden in office.
