The United Nations has passed a Resolution demanding that Israel halt the construction of illegal settlements in occupied Palestine.

The Resolution was passed by a vote of 14 to 0 by the international community. The U.S. abstained from voting. Cheers rang out in the halls of the United Nations when the resolution passed.

Israel reacted angrily and threatened retaliation against those countries voting in favor of the resolution.
