Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, who's awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in a federal hush money case, suffered a stroke and has been hospitalized for about six weeks, his lawyer said Thursday. Hastert is set to be sentenced on the banking charge on February 29, but that could be delayed if his health woes continue. Prosecutors and defense lawyers have agreed that sentencing guidelines call for him to receive between zero and six months in prison.
