The Chief Financial Officer of HuaWei, China's largest cell phone manufacturer, is facing extradition to the US and criminal charges.  The US is boycotting Iran, and demanding that private companies in China comply.  Meng Wanzhou was arrested while traveling in Canada, at the request of the US.

What would the US State Dept do if China arrested an American corporate executive because the Chinese government didn' like their business practices?

Our American government is establishing the Law of the World, and increasingly that "law" is dictated by corporate or security interests, with no pretense of due process.
