Two House Democrats asked the Justice Department’s internal watchdog on Friday to investigate leaks of information about the FBI investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. In a letter to the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General, Reps. Elijah Cummings (Md.) and John Conyers (Mich.) cited comments from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who said Friday that he obtained information about the FBI’s Clinton investigation long before Director James Comey sent a letter to members of Congress last Friday about new emails that may have been relevant to the Clinton probe.
