The state of our electoral system in the midst of the primaries with November's voting day on the ominous horizon. The outlook is generally bleak, but keep reading for some good news toward the end. More is being done to help people vote than hinder them in at least one area:
"Despite the fact that at least 77 bills to restrict access to registration and voting have been introduced or carried over from the prior session in 28 states since the start of the 2016 legislative session -- more bills have been introduced to do the opposite. At least 422 bills to enhance voter access have been introduced or carried over in 41 states this legislative session."
