"In the age of Trump and Bannon, the racists emerge from under the rocks. REP Steve King of Iowa tweeted that civilization can't be restored "with somebody else's babies." It has been a long time since racism was so openly expressed by a public official.. 'Cong.King' echoed the principles of white nationalism: that national identity is linked to the superiority  of white race. Self-proclaimed white nationalists emerged as a small but vocal group during the Trump's candidacy,  celebrating his promises to crack down on illegal immigration and ban Muslims from entering the U.S.  King is the prime architect of the party's newly aggressive anti-immigrant stance, a position he obtained by scuttling post-2012 party efforts at reworking and moderating the party's past immigration stances. David Duke, the white nationalist and former Ku Klux Klansman tweeted “GOD BLESS STEVE KING!!!”
