well-known futurist Brian Wang spoke at Technology Universe 2022 which was held in Portugal, with videos.

He talked about how, for $250b, the world's crops could be brought into Greenhouses, where they would use 7% of the water, 10% of the land, and almost no pesticides, that they currently use. China plans to bring 1/2 its crops & vegetables into controlled greenhouses by 2025. Temperature, lighting, drought do not matter under such conditions. He errs including ranchlands, however, because these are animal lands, which would mean CAFOs, which the world already has & which produce inferior meat inhumanely.

The SpaceX starship is discussed too, as a more efficient worldwide freight system. This is less proven.
