We can guess that many, many government officials, D & R, are eager to avoid a further investigation of Jeffrey Epstein, his empire, and his legacy. These people--including Presidents Trump and Clinton--were the ones in Epstein's black book, the ones on whom he acquired material for potential blackmail. But the top of the pyramid is in the Intelligence community which (according to Alex Acosta) employed Epstein as an asset. And they surely have the power and the motive to make sure the truth never to come to light.
Now that Epstein is (officially) dead, the prime witnesses who might unravel this scandal of scandals are Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew. The person pursuing the case was the US Attorney from New York, Geoffrey Berman. Last week, Berman was reported to have "resigned" until he called a press conference to say that he had every intention of staying in office and doing his job until he was forced out, after which The Donald forced him out. Ghislaine has been spotted in Paris. Andrew can't very well hide, and he is in London. Can we imagine that two such powerful people could ever be extradited to the US?
