Amid Iowa Results Debacle, Sanders Campaign Releases Data, Signals Victory

The Sanders campaign cited the "interest of transparency" by releasing a portion of their internal figures on the Iowa Caucuses—representing data from nearly 40 percent of precincts in the state. The data  was collected by "trained Sanders volunteers at representative precincts." 
Sanders received just over 28% of the vote during the first alignment, compared to second-place finisher Pete Buttigieg (slightly under 21%) and Sen. Warren who (19%.) Presumed frontrunner Joe Biden, meanwhile ended up in 4th place (less than 14%.) 
In the 2nd/final count, according to Sanders' partial internal numbers, he received nearly 30%, while Buttigieg was at approx 25%, Warren, 21%, and Biden  12%.
