Ain't About Us - Whites must eradicate white supremacy

 

Reading this essay is an intense experience for most Whites, at least I assume that. As the Author so clearly states: The Beneficiaries of White Supremacy have the responsibility to end it.

Blacks cannot do it. Nor can the Chicanos, or Asians, or Indigenous Peoples. When you think about that last group, you should agree the Standing Rock - Or North Dakota against the Water Protectors - is a great example of this message. The Oil Flows, and the Water Protectors are as forgotten as The Black Panthers.

To me, the combining of the AFL with the CIO ended any hope of a real Labor Movement in this Country. Events continue to highlight that. With few exceptions, joining a Union only means you pay dues on top of taxes...
