39TH HAVANA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL Films presenting relevant contemporary Latin American issues

Here is the list of Prizes from the last edition of Havana Film Festival. The Festival had started back in 1978 focusing on the New Latin American cinema - films portraying continent's burning social reality. Throughout the years important names, such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez's, have been associated with the Festival. Neither the Festival nor the New Latin American cinema lost their touch with the arrival of the digital age.
