Some regular OEN members posting to OpEdNews have reported problems recently. We figured out that the tool we use to enter text is not being accepted by some browsers, particularly Google's Chrome and Apple's Safari. So we are in the middle of replacing the text entry tool we've used for 15 years with a new one, which turns out to be much better and more versatile. If you post articles, diaries or comments, you're going to really like it. But...

Here's the rub. It is costing us-- extra programming time and lost time working on other projects we've had on the agenda. To cover the costs I've sent out some emails. But each time, only 20% of the recipients have opened them. So, in addition to sending out emails, I'm asking for your help again, for the ordinary reasons and this urgent new situation.

If you already read this and donated, or have donated recently, thanks so much. Maybe you can add an encouraging comment too. Otherwise, please read on.

Can you chip in anything? Even a few bucks can help. And if you can donate $50, $100, $200 or more, that would be amazing. Click here to make a tax deductible donation through ActBlue, Paypal, Democracy Engine or other options.

Also, purchasing premium memberships, particularly lifetime memberships, is very helpful.

If you have recently donated to OpEdNews.com, thanks very, very much. But please consider helping again, in this time of need. Or not. Thanks either way. And I KNOW you are going to love the new text entry tool, which is almost ready for release.
