> "Dennis Flagrante, the flamboyant, weekend drag queen that worked during the week as a monument man, a purveyor and carver of tombstones, named his Chevy "The Grim Reaper." It had a real big engine and a lot of other really cool hot rod stuff that this Omniscient Narrator knows very little about.

Dennis would take his car out on Sunday afternoons and talk shop and race with his buddies out on an old, abandoned strip of highway. One Sunday morning Dennis got up, looked at his wife and said "F**k it," put on his costume from the night before and drove his Chevy out to spend the day with his buddies.

After talking about carburetors and timing chains and glass packs for a couple of hours Dennis said, "I just gotta ask you fellas why no one has said anything about my gown and heels?" They all started laughing and slapping him on the back. Jack Wiggins removed his aggressively chewed cigar and winked at him. Finally Ted Brooks, ex semi-pro third baseman and banker said, "Hell Dennis, this is America."

Dennis looked around at all his buddies, adjusted his beer stained, artificial mink stole, lit the remnants of last week's cigar and said, "It still is, isn't it..." From "To Preserve it You Gotta Name It" By Franklin Cincinnatus
