My Governor is as foul as he is dishonest about what America is. The Syrian refugee crisis certainly deserves discussion. Safety is important.
We already bear the burden of the fact of turning Jewish Children away, back to Nazi Germany.
We already bear the burden of lighting up the Middle East.
We already bear the burden of so many declaring America a Christian country and then wallowing in the long, dark shadow cast by the cross, not rejoicing in the message of acceptance and compassion.
These and so many more burdens to bear.
Why not lay down our burdens and stand on the shore and sing.
