"Senator Link Fluorflusher almost had three wrecks on his way home, in a fever, to get his Bible and find the passage that validated his recent attempt to poison his enemy and rival, Trace Tildon -- thankfully for Senator Fluorflusher, Moses brought down those plagues on Egypt. He dodged a really big bullet last year when the murder for hire plot to kill the soldier husband of a woman he met, and ultimately bedded, at the rooftop pool of the Washington Four Seasons was excused once the David and Bathsheba thing was fully understood. Things had gotten much more interesting in America since the "Make The United States Government Biblical" party won control of the Presidency, both houses of Congress and The Supreme Court. They had finally instituted the much anticipated "Eye for an Eye Court."

Molly Angostra was not absolutely sure how she felt about the new regime but once her skills as a seamstress were discovered, she was all in. There was a sudden, tremendous demand for eye patches. Molly, being infinitely creative, began making them out of all manner of fabric and colors. She would even do custom designs for a slight increase in cost. Things changed drastically at her house. She built a swimming pool. Her husband could finally take drum lessons. At her monthly book club meeting, her best friend, Daphne, loudly exclaimed, "See, we have made America great again!"
