I have already voted in Missouri for the Green Party's Jill Stein. I am voting with the hope that the Greens will obtain 5% of the vote nationally in 2016. Only 5 to 9 states look like they are in play currently-- one week before the presidential election, so I encourage you, too, if you are in the 43 states or so that are not really in play this election.
Basically, think of your children and their future.
From REAL CLEAR POLITICS one can observe that currently the Greens are only polling between 2 and 3 percent nationally even though they appear to have the best and most progressive platform. If you decide to not vote for either the venomous Donald Trump or the toxic Hillary, you can at least show up, vote progressive, and then elect better senators, congressmen, and governors.
In this way, the Greens can be on the ballot in 2020, and as a permanent party they can do an even better job of putting pressure on the DNC than Barry and the legions who were part of his campaign did this past year.
If you lean Libertarian, you can support them, too. Go out and use that vote. Your children will thank you for it and respect you more than if you voted for either Hillary or Trump. In any case, by seeking to vote out the Senator Bums, like Roy Blunt of Missouri, you can also then elect a much better Congress for the country for the next two years.
Again, think of your kids and the example you set by not just holding your nose but actually voting for real reform or change.
