In an annual news cycle New Years is the time for "old news" - "Nothing to see here. Move on, folks!" What would you nominate to be stories of the year and even longer?

I nominate for Fake News of the Decade: "Terrible National Debt Must be Repaid by Us or Our Kids!"

Republicans maintain Americans are like a family. An endlessly increasing National Debt when revenue is limited requires cutting general welfare programs.

For a True News Backgrounder, add: "Government Creates and Issues all Money; Can simply Create More. Temporary Inflation isn't Fatal! Democrats Fail, over whole Decade, to Educate Americans, to Refute this Republican Propaganda."
