Be right following your conscience, or be wrong following your conscience.
Either way, it is safer to reflect and try and work things through, rather than relying purely on the opinions of other people, institutions or books.
These all may have their place, but unless you know what is right or wrong, there is no point hearing it from someone else, even if they might actually be correct!
There are no guarantees. Nobody is promised that.
It's scary, but this is the path to be an ever more rounded and mature individual, and to find true moral courage.
