Today I watched last night's Zoom meeting and thought it was one of the best so far. The conversation about who would be Biden's best choice for VIPOTUS was what interested me most and what motivates me to put in my two cents worth here.
All of the candidates under discussion have significant weaknesses, but some of Elizabeth Warren's liabilities are perhaps not being recognized or given as much weight as I think is warranted.
My greatest (but not only) concern about her is her weakness on Foreign policy. Consider, for example, her support of regime change in Venezuela. I wish some interviewer would ask her how the country could pay for the progressive domestic policies advocated by Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders, and that she says she supports, if as Vice President or President she continues to support the Military Industrial Complex by waging illegal wars of aggression, whether overt (as in Iraq) or covert (as in Nicaragua). And, for the sake of full disclosure, I must say that I really hated the way she sold out Bernie Sanders during one of the primary debates, and then added insult to injury by refusing his hand when he offered it. I agree with Rob that Tulsie would be ideal, but we know that ain't gonna happen. Too bad.
