I lead the development, implementation and management of a targeted marketing and communications strategy that will position the Food Bank of South Jersey as the leading anti-hunger organization in South Jersey. I focus on activities and opportunities to strengthen the image and branding of the organization and its programs, services and campaigns. This includes taking ownership of all the organization's internal and external marketing and communication collateral such as websites, print material, promotional items, and video/audio productions. I serve as one of the spokespersons for the organization and manages all public relations for the organization including the public profile of the CEO.

At 8.5%, New Jersey's unemployment rate is higher than the national unemployment now at an all time low of 7.3%, leading some to question why so many people still need food assistance programs. But the national unemployment rate, stuck stubbornly high at over 7 percent, only tells part of the story.
