Gary Lindorff is a poet, writer, blogger and author of five nonfiction books, three collections of poetry, "Children to the Mountain", "The Last recurrent Dream" (Two Plum Press), "Conversations with Poetry (coauthored with Tom Cowan), and a memoir, "Finding Myself in Time: Facing the Music". Lindorff calls himself an activist poet, channeling his activism through poetic voice. He also writes with other voices in other poetic styles: ecstatic, experimental and performance and a new genre, sand-blasted poems where he randomly picks sentence fragments from books drawn from his library, lists them, divides them into stanzas and looks for patterns. Sand-blasted poems are meant to be performed aloud with musical accompaniment.

He is a practicing dream worker(with a strong, Jungian background) and a shamanic practitioner. His shamanic work is continually deepening his partnership with the land. This work can assume many forms, solo and communal, among them: prayer, vision questing, ritual sweating, and sharing stories by the fire. He is a born-pacifist and attempts to walk the path of non-violence believing that no war is necessary or inevitable.

Why I was an atheist and anarchist in 1967-69 An anarchist wants to bring down the "house" of the human world, because it seems cruel and pointless and full of rules that constrain the best, or purer impulses of humanity.

What explains the velocity of light? (Thanksgiving ponderings) Watching the light of the jet, I slipped into a reverie and began to wonder what the light was doing that allowed me to see it. Was my eyesight going all the way to the light or was the light coming all the way to me?

If there is a nuclear war, I will blame Biden. (Joe obviously hasn't read "Frankenstein") I always assumed that if there was going to be a WW3, America would be the one to start it because of our "hot" love affair with the Bomb

A response to Youtube video: Hopi Prophecy, Two Paths: Destruction or Survival -- Thomas Banyacya, 1972 As events continue to unfold what is possible becomes probable. In 1972, what he (Hopi elder Thomas Banyacya) was showing us was somewhat abstract but just 20 years later his monitions were supported by more synchronous disasters
