Pacific Tuna Contaminated With Cesium - How and Why by Conrad Miller M.D. Pacific Tuna now are contaminated with cesium from the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster. Ongoing daily leakage of radionuclides that are flowing out into the ocean from Fukushima's rivers & groundwaters are concentrating in mud and kelp & higher up the food chain, in tuna and larger fish & whales. Though cesium is the most easily measureable of the more than 1400 radionuclides produced by fissioning uranium, most are not measured.
