Part 1: What Is the Trans-Pacific Partnership, And Why Don't I Care? This first part of a five part series introduces the Trans Pacific Partnership “trade deal” scam, identifies its potential dangers, as well as the dangers of allowing it to be “fast-tracked” through Congress. Sam Harris and Bill Maher are not racists! Bill Maher and Sam Harris have been accused of "racism" for their attacks on Islam. They have rightly defended themselves against this specific charge--cultural chauvinism is the more precise term for attacking some worldview while your own nation's leaders pursue imperial adventures that inflict oppression and mass death in countries where that worldview predominates.

If the Golden Rule Is Scientifically Correct, Then Islamophobia Is Not: An Essay Inspired by a Sam Harris Challenge An entry into Sam Harris's Moral Landscape Challenge. The essay argues that if Harris is right that morals can be established scientifically (and if Steven Pinker's empirical evidence for the moral correctness of the Golden Rule is a good example of how this can be done) then much of what Sam Harris has said about what it's okay to do to Muslims is, by this empirically-established Golden Rule standard, morally wrong.

Correspondence On An Academic Freedom Controversy This is the edited correspondence demonstrating that there was, at one time, an intention to retract a published article on the psychology-abetting-torture scandal. Push back from psychology dissidents has reduced the likelihood of this retraction going through, however.
