A comment on the killing of Harambe, the Gorilla, to save a human child In this article, I look at the implicit assumption behind the killing of Harambe, the gorilla: that humans are more valuable than animals. I show that humans are not intrinsically more valuable than animals. We have to earn our value.

Yellen Presents False Reality To Congress The Fed's own data refutes its chairman's explanation that the decline is explained by the older age group retiring. If it were not for the increased participation rate of those 55 and over, the decline in the labor force participation rate would be worse than it is, because participation of every other group is in decline.
