Bear Kosik is a political scientist by training. His Remaking Democracy in America was published in the fall of 2018 by Stairway Press. Well-received science fiction novels (two under Hugh Dudley) are available on Amazon. Several screenplays have been awarded over fifteen laurels at screenplay competitions since 2016. Bear's short fiction, essays, photo art,and poetry have appeared in a variety of reviews, anthologies, and e-zines. Six of his plays have been presented at off-off-Broadway venues since 2016. The Proposed Petition for Redress and Pledge of Action The Occupy movement is treading water. The Proposed Petition is meant to be the next step, a document that summarizes the principles, grievances, redress sought, and action needed that the occupiers have identified but not moved forward with. The next step requires the agreement of the 99 percent. We need to ask everyone in this country, one by one, if they are ready for change.
