ISIS poses nuclear 9/11 threat ISIS has stated its intention to attack the United States and Europe to advance its evil, messianic and genocidal ideology and ambitions. ISIS has the money to purchase the most deadly weapons in the world, and has recruited American and European traitors with above-average capability to execute an attack.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, freshman Senator from Massachusetts is not one to shy away from a challenge, whether it's bankruptcy laws, bank bailouts or her own personal battles., From ImagesAttr

Elizabeth Warren's moment Warren's good name and inspiration will be a powerful weapon for Democrats to bring out voters in a midterm election in which they face a major turnout challenge. Her book tour will bring her message to a large national audience. Her campaigning for Democrats in 2014 will motivate a disillusioned Democratic base to vote.

How Obama blew it Obama, who took office with high hopes based on his promise of "change you can believe in," blew it. He became the establishment he promised to change. He failed to fight for the "transforming" reforms he promised. The president is in good company. The strange thing about American politics today is that while the behavior of the president, Congress and both parties engenders widespread disapproval, nothing ever changes.

Liberals have a great 2013 on faith-based issues Conservatives don't help themselves with voters by raising heck in defense of the idiot proposition that blacks were happy with institutionalized racism or that gays are sinners. Watching one possible Republican presidential candidate after another rush to the right, then further to the right, in a race to the political bottom only demonstrates the problems facing the GOP.

Daschle for Obama Daschle was Obama's very effective campaign chairman in 2008. He is fiercely loyal to the president and Obama's vision of the presidency expressed in the historic 2008 campaign. He has long friendships and working relationships with key White House aides and the stature to privately speak truth to power, which is profoundly important to all presidents.

It's The Jobs, Stupid I am not proposing a presidential photo op in front of a bridge, or a news cycle public relations maneuver that is wheeled out with a bad jobs report and returned to the closet after a few news cycles. Obama needs to contemplate the possibility that his legacy will be "the jobless president." He should fight to become "the jobs president."

Equal Rights for All would argue that "equal rights for all" is the law of the land today, despite the fact that the law as interpreted by the current Supreme Court majority does not yet agree. The Defense of Marriage Act is probably, fortunately, to use a non-legal formulation, a dead duck. Good. The DOMA duck never should have existed in the first place.

Filibuster reform is dead There will be a huge backlash from the Democratic base once liberals from outside Washington fully understand what just happened. The backlash will become severe once the Republicans renew their filibuster attacks, which will return before the rooster crows many more times and continue throughout the current Congress, between recesses.

Hillary Turns Texas Blue Texas is going blue. Demographics are destiny. The only question is when. As the sun sets on the highly successful tenure of Hillary Clinton as secretary of State, and the sun rises on the next stage of her historic life, don't be surprised if her greatest run for the roses blossoms alongside the yellow rose of Texas.

Al Gore, Al-Jazeera My mourning of Al Gore's failed role in television should be not be interpreted as criticism of Al-Jazeera. The fact that so many American television distributors have refused to carry Al-Jazeera is the latest proof that so many executives throughout the television industry believe that we the people, their customers, are morons.

Women, Ohio and the Clintons will make the difference for Democrats Don't expect women to be fooled by a Republican who opposes equal pay for them, and whose latest multiple-choice position would destroy their right to choose. And don't be surprised if voters in Ohio continue their support for the president who was there for them, and who I predict will be there for him on Election Day.

Issa targets Hillary: Big mistake There is now an independent and nonpartisan investigation of exactly what happened in Libya. A partisan witch-hunt by Republicans using taxpayer money against Secretary Clinton, as a partisan weapon in the closing days of an election, to exploit a tragedy to score political points is exactly what the American people believe has gone wrong with Washington.

Make my day, Mitt Governor Romney, you believe we were better off then? Really? When President Obama offered a bold plan that brought workers and management together to save these Made in America jobs in autos and steel, a plan your father would have supported, you opposed it for political reasons. Then you tried to claim credit for it.

Ryan's War on Women Paul Ryan is a decent person who embodies the dark side of a rightist, elitist, greed-driven, Ayn Randian dream. He champions policies that hurt women of all ages and incomes, across many fronts. He stands for a vulture nation that would leave most Americans behind.

Barack Obama commands, Hillary Clinton soars, Mitt Romney insults Romney embarrassed himself almost from the minute he arrived in London. He insulted his hosts. He insulted a great nation and close American ally that joins us in a "special relationship." He made statements that were thoughtless, clumsy, amateurish and unworthy of anyone who aspires to be commander in chief.

Pelosi On a Mission Nancy Pelosi might be the leading conviction politician in America. She valued the verdict of voters in 2008 with clarity, courage and conviction. She assembled a first-rate team that respected the "People's House" as a reflection of the diversity of the nation. Great dreams ultimately come true because of conviction politicians like Nancy Pelosi. Her mission lives on. Her work is far from done.

GOP hopes USA fails It is time to talk of patriotism and partisanship and a Republican Party that has lost its heart, its soul and its way. Ronald Reagan would be embarrassed by Republicans today. William F. Buckley would be angry and ashamed. The party of Reaganite optimism is now the party that hopes America fails and blames Americans first.

Why Nancy Pelosi is Smiling If the bills passed by the House during her Speakership were enacted into law, the number of jobs would be much greater, foreclosures would be much fewer, the lives of our children would be much better and the lot of all women would be much improved. Nancy Pelosi is within reach of a great victory, which is why she is smiling and why I am, too.

Romney cover-up of his tax returns, offshore tax shelters and outsourcing profits must end The Romney cover-up of the damage he did to our good and great nation, by moving our jobs overseas, by moving our companies abroad, by using creative tax shelters in offshore accounts to avoid paying taxes on wealth he achieved by destroying jobs, must end.

GOP wages war against jobs Mitt Romney, who ranked nearly last in the nation creating jobs as governor, lusts for the presidency. He seems joyous that many are jobless. He celebrates their pain as his good fortune. He panders to the hatred of unions that his father deplored. He forgets that Ronald Reagan led the Screen Actors Guild. He treats the jobs of police and firefighters, and nurses and teachers, as the petty cash of his unprincipled ambition.
