Harold Lee Rush is a Chicago Radio "LEGEND" and multimedia personality. In 1982, Harold's radio career took off at Chicago's WGCI radio where he spent 10 years as the producer and co-host of the powerhouse morning show, becoming one of the most well-known media personalities in Chicago. With Doug Banks and Company, Harold hosted broadcasts all over the U.S. and around the world, including London, Senegal, Jamaica and the Bahamas. Harold worked at Johnson Publishing Company as announcer for the "Ebony-Jet Showcase" TV show and hosted two television shows at CAN-TV. He's also authored internationally award winning poetry and recently published his memoirs, "MYSTORY: The Original". Harold's community service has been recognized and honored by many organizations including Outstanding Young Men of America, UNCF Distinguished Leader Award and the Chicago Board of Education/Chicago Police Department "We Care" Role Model Program. 2005 brought Harold to WKKC FM, the official radio station of the City Colleges of Chicago as an On-Air Talent and Instructor for students in the Media Communications programs. He retired in 2020.
