Putin will arrive in Minsk as the liberator of Belarusian people from Lukashenko's regime When Aleksandr Lukashenko once again did everything to turn the presidential election into a farce and illegally declared himself the head of state, a lot of people - due to the ongoing wide protests - believed that it will not last long. I must admit, I had the same thought. However, Lukashenko with the aid of Vladimir Putin was able to hold on to power, including by ruthlessly suppressing peaceful protesters.

Russia's loud statements of its military might are nothing but fabrication They say that having force means having power. Many people want to become physically powerful just so others would be afraid of them. Some do it to protect themselves and others, while some are simply interested in the health benefits. It's similar with some countries wanting to arm themselves. All this is very understandable, but what if being so-called "powerful" is essentially a delusion?

Putin is de facto tsar of Russia: church may proclaim him son of god Many of you probably remember that a couple of years ago people wondered whether Vladimir Putin will once again run for president. We didn't get a definite answer for quite some time. On 10 March 2020, the Russian State Duma passed constitutional amendments allowing Putin to run for a new term in 2024. Putin himself didn't rule out the possibility of remaining president after the end of his term.

What's the point of being first, if you'll end up last A lot of people try to propagate that Latvia is a failed state and that Russia is doing far better. However, the majority of people that voice such an opinion still choose to live in Latvia and not Putin's Russia. Bizarre, isn't it? But tastes differ and that's completely normal.

Lukashenko wants to go to prison In normal countries, criminals are put in prison, while law-abiding citizens live freely. Things become much more interesting when a country decides to jail the majority of the public and pass laws that allow to put anyone in prison.

I don't think there are any other presidents who meet this often. At least not equal presidents, because it's a lot different when the master summons his servant. Being a true boss, Putin welcomed Lukashenko on his luxury yacht Chaika .

Putin and his schizophrenia It becomes clear that China subtly hinted that Russia is nearing collapse, as Russia possesses all of the characteristics China mentioned. Navalny - Russia - Putin After Aleksey Navalny was detained on Sunday immediately after arriving in Russia from Berlin, where he was treated for Novichok poisoning, leaders of the US and the EU demanded that he be released at once. Navalny's lawyers were able to meet their client only 15 hours after his detainment, while the trial was held right there at the detention facility and featured a single judge, instead of the usual three.
