My elderly father entered a South Florida hospital Friday morning. He tested positive for pneumonia. A later test determined he also has sepsis. They wanted to make sure the first test wasn't a false negative.
Fortunately, the first Covid-19 test was negative. But doctors ordered a second test because of his age and condition.
