Patricia E. Byers is an artist, photographer, writer, cook and author of Enduring Weight Maintenance, Vegetarian Cookbook, "Ideas and recipes on how to maintain your weight after the diet is done."
Patricia grew up in Larchmont New York, lived in NYC after graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, then moved to California for a few years before returning to the East. In her heart, she didn't want to be far from New York, with its great museums and exciting activity. Patricia has photographed and written about her travels in Europe, especially, Rome, Ireland and Spain.
Her Viennese mother and grandmother showed her the ropes to their way of cooking as she was growing up. She has continued to cook enthusiastically, and imaginatively, throughout her life. She put her skills together to create this book, to share her recipes, and open a discussion about weight maintenance.
Patricia lives in Connecticut with her longtime partner, Alfred Moenter.
