WHO PAYS FOR THE VA'S DATA DEBACLE? The VA plans to pay with funds raided from veterans' healthcare and benefits programs. The VA has not asked for any additional funding and Republican lawmakers aren't offering any. But, legislation has been forwarded by Senators Murray & Byrd to give the VA an additional $160 million. VETERANS KNOW: IT'S BUYER! BEWARE! Rep. Steve Buyer's war on veterans continued last week. He changed the dates of VA budget testimony to protect the White House from embarrassing criticism. And, he refused to praise the VA's decision to stop the review of 72,000 PTSD claims. America's military veteran community is furious.
