I couldn't imagine anything being more persuasive for OEN viewers, as far as of embarking on a sincere investigation of the realm of the spirit, than knowing that Hillary Clinton (herself!) is a full-fledged convert to the wonderful world of meditation. And, as unambiguous proof of that fact, here she is praising yoga to the skies and demonstrating one of the more esoteric practices of that discipline.

I believe the story broke in the Huffington Post early yesterday, so there should have been more than enough time for the Times to feature at least something in today's paper about the Clinton Presidential campaign arranging to pay the DNC's monthly bills, and effectively taking control of the party in 2015.

Having no inside information, and after having done virtually no research on the matter, I have a theory as to why Kevin Spacey's career is being utterly destroyed. Personally, I've never really liked Spacey. He's always struck me as an arrogant, egotistical so and so. But there is no denying that he is a transcendentally gifted actor, and with "House of Cards", he became a bona fide cultural force.

"At the time this pair met in a Canadian TV studio, Vaughan was blazing a trail into the blues world with his debut album, Texas Flood. King was long since a legend, and though he apparently didn't recognize the name "Vaughan," he immediately recognized the young guitarist who'd sat in with him whenever he played in Austin. The video dimension turns this session into a master class for both Vaughan and the viewer.

This should really be required viewing for everyone in the western hemisphere. I just happened to take it out of my local library. Despite some prior knowledge of the basic origins of Islam, it was with Part II that I got my first glimpse of a truly alternative history of the entire world.

Chris Hayes 9/15/17 This segment of "All In with Chris Hayes" is quite chilling. Apparently McConnell & Co have devised an ingenious way to pass the repeal of Obamacare the fourth time around. Mr. Hayes summarizes the most recent attempt which must pass in three weeks in order to avoid the requirement becoming 60 votes in the Senate at the end of September as opposed to the current simple majority.

I happened to turn on the Congressional hearings with FBI Director Comey when a Congressman from California named Eric Swalwell was questioning the Director. I was quite stunned by not only how many more connections Trump has with Russia than I was previously aware, but also by just how fearless and aggressive this fellow was in hammering Comey.

In a recent interview with Charlie Rose, on at least two separate occasions, Sen. Bernie Sanders called Donald Trump "A very strange man." I don't believe that he was saying this in the sense that many on the left would assume, i.e. that Trump is simply a narcissistic, self-promoting con man and buffoon.

It just seems a bit odd to me that the controversy revolving around Bob Dylan being awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for literature should stop short of what seems to me a far more interesting question: does Dylan's cultural import and significance actually transcend the award altogether?

President-elect Donald Trump has announced a handful of new cabinet picks with deep ties to Wall Street. On Tuesday, he named Steven Mnuchin to be Treasury Secretary. Mnuchin is a former executive for Goldman Sachs, where his father also worked. Mnuchin's hedge fund also played a role in the housing crisis, after it scooped up the failing California bank IndyMac in 2008.

One aspect of the email scandal which hasn't gotten any scrutiny is: What was Hillary so scared of coming to light in her emails that she would compromise top secret government documents in order to protect her own?
