The Economic, Social and Class Privilege of the "Global Citizens" Are "Global Citizens" made or born? Do the slick, sophisticated "Global Citizens" have their own economic, social and class prejudices that they cannot bear to own up to?

Our Radical Socialist Library System is Incompatible with True Liberty, I.e. Market Fundamentalism (IRONY) My first modest proposal conclusively refuted the backward bigots who moralistically judge 20th/21st-century dictators from our privileged and enlightened vantage point in 2116. This time around, I destroy forever the myth that anything good can ever come from the radical far-leftist library system of today.

Footprints in the Desert (With Edward Said) The poem 'Footprints in the Sand' is a well-beloved poem. But what about 'Footprints in the Desert?' What can I, or other readers and writers, learn from the dialogue I have had with the deceased critic, the writer of 'Orientalism,' Edward Said?

Philosophy of the Apology: Saying Sorry in a Patriarchal World This article is an informal and layperson-friendly discussion of the philosophy of the apology. Avoiding jargon or complex notions, I discuss the gendered implications of men making apologies in a patriarchal world. I also show personal reflexivity, in the hope that other men will do so also.

'The Good of Humanity' is a Blank Check for Tyranny The Good of Humanity is a sacred cow you're not supposed to blaspheme against. Ever! But as moral absolutisms go, Humanitarianism is very far from pristine.

If You Voted Leave with Progressive Intentions, Have the Courage of Your Convictions! The recent upsurge of racist brutality since the EU referendum means critical & skeptical Leave voters have a difficult path ahead. It is important to steer a tight path between (or beyond?) the reactionary right among leave voters, and the hostility of some remain voters. We should resolutely oppose both Leaveshaming & Remainbaiting. both

Renaming my Racial Privilege Series on OpEdNews: Reflexivity and Zooming Out I recently renamed my article series on racial privilege. This act of renaming can be linked to a broader process of reflection on this topic. How have I approached the topic in question so far? And what might the future hold?

If Your Autism Has No Place for Self-Cultivation, It Will Be Bullshit A progressive vision of autism will favor reasonable accommodations for autistic individuals. But should autistic people expect unilateral accommodation? Or is accommodation a two-way stree?

They Just Didn't Know Any Better! A Modest Proposal on Historical Relativism and Universalism---(Irony) This Swiftian satire highlights the folly of the self-serving, ethnocentric and simplistic assumption that 'our people' make 'honest mistakes' or were 'men of their time,' while people elsewhere in the world are barbarians and butchers. By 'pretending' to assume an extreme historical relativist position, I illustrate how fallacious and opportunistic such a perspective must inevitably be.

Libya: The New Pipedream of the Opium of the Aristocrats There are two main problems with the 'good intentions' of militarists: the irrelevance of good intentions, and the question mark hanging over whether these good intentions actually exist!

The 'Real Kanye West!' Is this A Wild Goose Chase? Kanye West featured in a recent edition of NME magazine, after being nominated as both 'hero' and 'villain' for the NME awards. One obvious question is: 'So who is the real Kanye West?' Another is: 'Is there really a real Kanye West?' But one could also ask: 'How valid are such questions really? And are these actually privileged questions?' This is a preliminary inquiry where I don't tie everything up neatly.

My Vote of Zero Confidence (and Zero-Confidence!) in Your Disabled Community Preliminary exploration: Neurodiversity is the current politically expedient naming of Neurodivergent individuals. But is Neurodiversity an excessively optimistic and 'sexy' lens through which to view Neurodivergence? Is it time to revisit the pain, horror and terror of Neurodivergence, rather than anesthezing oneself from the ambivalence of Neurodivergence? Is there a 'disabled community,' or is this an assimilatory gesture?

Neuro-Individualism Versus Neuro-Collectivism: I am Not Diversity! This follow-up to my previous article on Neurodiversity explores more systematically the problem of Neurodiversity as a respectable, worthy and ultimately assimilationist approach to Neurodivergence. I suggest that the hegemonic status of Neurodiversity is fundamentally elitist, but that rather than being a 'conspiracy,' as foolish far right reactionaries would suggest, it's just good old-fashioned ideological mystification.

Communicating White Privilege More Effectively: A Fresh Idea? The idea of 'white privilege' has helped some people to understand how white people experience benefits that are not equally distributed to everyone in society. However, many people are hostile towards the idea of 'white privilege,' and will strongly deny that they are 'privileged.' My article suggests a distinction between 'privilege from' and 'privilege to.' This may be of service in explaining white privilege more clearly.
