After writing for a year, I decided to incorporate to pursue to separate digital media entities: @muncievoice and @munciematters.
The two entities are very different since one is devoted to journalism meant to inform readers about our socioeconomic environment holding both public and private sectors accountable.
The other entity is focused on positive branding for our community. The vision is to create a media cooperative owned by residents and local businesses centered around truth telling journalism as described in our constitution under the auspices of 'free and independent press'. We also want to brand the community and train local business owners how to market themselves online.
